Meet Tyrese

Tyrese Alleyne-Davis is a proud native of Brooklyn who attended New York University on a full scholarship. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences department, with the career goal of becoming a published author. Despite being born prematurely at 23 weeks, he was determined to succeed despite his lifelong condition of triplegic cerebral palsy, which affects his left side and both legs and requires him to use a wheelchair. In addition, he has two learning disabilities: dyscalculia and dysgraphia. Despite these challenges, Tyrese has become a prominent public speaker over the past decade. Tyrese Alleyne-Davis always had a passion and love for all things, sports and literature. Wanting to fill a void in the literary space due to a lack of novels that represent the people and places Tyrese comes from, he quickly found his passion for writing stories, and his journey to being a published author was born . With aspirations of also entering the sports reporting career field, Tyrese is working toward building his portfolio on his path to becoming a professional sports reporter.
